Kaplan College’s Columbus Campus Appoints
New Executive Director
COLUMBUS, Ohio, December 10, 2010— Kaplan College’s Columbus campus announced the appointment of Jeffrey Bodimer as the school’s new executive director.
Bodimer has held leadership positions at Kaplan Higher Education for more than four years as an associate director of accreditation and a group retention director. Prior to that, he was the president at High Tech Institute and the executive director at Vatterott College. Bodimer began his career in higher education 10 years ago as an instructor at the St. Louis Institute of Credit.
“Jeffrey brings a wealth of experience from both within Kaplan Higher Education and the industry,” Sandra Ugol, regional vice president for Kaplan Higher Education said. “We are confident he will guide the Columbus campus in continually providing quality, career-focused educational opportunities for our students.”
Bodimer holds a bachelor’s degree in management and communication from Concordia Univeristy, a master’s degree in business administration from Fontbonne University and a master’s degree in adult education from The University of Missouri. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in education from Walden University.
The Kaplan College Columbus campus serves more than 400 students and offers associate degrees and diplomas in allied health, criminal justice and information technology.
Kaplan College Columbus is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). ACCSC is listed as a recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education.
