KAPLAN UNIVERSITY’S MASON CITY CAMPUS TO HOST GRADUATION CEREMONY FRIDAY
Ceremony to Recognize 29 Students
MASON CITY, Iowa, June 11, 2010— Kaplan University’s Mason City campus will hold a graduation ceremony on June 11 for 29 students. The ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m. at Music Man Square, 308 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Mason City. Pamela Meeder-Anderson, executive director of the Calhoun County Economic Development Corporation, will keynote the ceremony.
The Mason City-based school will recognize students for earning associate and bachelor’s degrees in fields including allied health, business, criminal justice, information technology and legal. Upon graduating, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study. According to the most recent Iowa Occupational Projections, a report by the Iowa Workforce Development, medical assistant positions are expected to increase by 33 percent and accounting positions by 18 percent between 2006 and 2016.
Kaplan University’s Mason City campus is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA).
