of Business’ North Campus to Host Graduation Ceremony for 338 Students Friday
Bishop James Dixon to Keynote Ceremony
HOUSTON, August 21, 2009—The Texas School of Business North campus will hold a graduation ceremony on Friday, August 21, for 338 students. The ceremony will take place at 7 p.m. at the M. O. Campbell Educational Center at 1865 Aldine Bender Road, Houston. Bishop James Dixon will keynote the ceremony.
The Houston-based campus will recognize students for earning diplomas in one of three programs in the allied health field. Upon graduation, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study. According to the most recent Long-Term Occupation Projections, a report by the Texas Workforce Commission, Labor Market Information Division, medical assistant positions are expected to increase by 53.7 percent, dental assistant positions by 37.6 percent and medical records and health information technician positions by 31.6 percent from 2006 to 2016.
The Texas School of Business North campus is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). ACICS is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
