    Ohio Institute of Photography & Technology to Host Graduation Ceremony for 155 Students Friday

    DAYTON, Ohio, July 17, 2009Ohio Institute of Photography & Technology will hold a graduation ceremony on Friday, July 17, for 155 students.  The ceremony will take place at the Dayton Convention Center at 22 E. Fifth St., Dayton, Ohio.  James Sayer, faculty president of Wright State University, will keynote the ceremony. 

     

    The Dayton-based campus will recognize students for earning either associate degrees or diplomas in one of eight programs in the allied health, design, information technology, legal studies or trades fields.  Upon graduation, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study.  According to the most recent Employment Projections, a report by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Labor Market Information Division, medical assistant positions are expected to increase by 32.1 percent, pharmacy technician positions by 22 percent, computer support specialist positions by 7.5 percent and photography positions by 4.3 percent from 2006 to 2016. 

     

    “We realize that our students encounter many challenges and obstacles along the way to graduation,” said Derek Koebel, campus president of Ohio Institute of Photography & Technology.  “We are very proud of our graduates and can’t wait to hear of their successes in the future.”

     

    Ohio Institute of Photography & Technology is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools (ACCSC).  ACCSC is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.
