Omaha, Neb., Feb. 28, 2009 – Kaplan University’s Omaha campus will hold a graduation ceremony on Saturday, Feb. 28, for 80 students. The ceremony will take place at 10:00 a.m. at the Holiday Inn-Central at 3321 South 72nd St., Omaha. Eric McKillican, owner of McKillican Chiropractic, will keynote the ceremony.
Students will be recognized for earning bachelor’s degree, associate degree or diplomas in one of 11 programs in the business, allied health, legal or information technology fields. Students may be eligible for entry-level positions within their field of study. According to the Nebraska Statewide Long-term Occupational Projections, a report by the Nebraska Workforce Development, Department of Labor, practical nursing positions are expected to increase by 22.1 percent, medical assistant positions by 50.5 percent, dental assistant positions by 50.8 percent, massage therapy positions by 14.9 percent and paralegal positions by 26.5 percent from 2006 to 2016.
