University’s Mason City Campus to Host Graduation Ceremony for 22 Graduates Friday
State Rep. Sharon S. Steckman to Keynote Ceremony
MASON CITY, Iowa, May 8, 2009—Kaplan University’s Mason City campus will hold a graduation ceremony on Friday, May 8, for 22 students. The ceremony will take place at 7 p.m. at Music Man Square at 308 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Mason City. State Rep. Sharon S. Steckman will keynote the ceremony.
Students will be recognized for earning either a bachelor’s degree or associate degree in one of seven programs in the business, information technology, criminal justice or allied health fields. According to the Iowa Occupational Projections, a report by the Iowa Workforce Development, Workforce Data & Business Development Bureau, medical assistant positions are expected to increase by 30.6 percent from 2004 to 2014.
The Kaplan University Mason City campus is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission, a Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA).
