SACRAMENTO, Calif., Feb. 12, 2009—Kaplan College, Sacramento campus, will hold a graduation ceremony on Thursday, Feb. 12, for 364 students. The ceremony will take place at 6:00 p.m. at the Scottish Rite Temple, 6151 J Street, Sacramento, Calif.
Students will be recognized for earning an associate degree, diploma or certificate in one of seven programs in the allied health field. Upon graduation, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study, many of which are in high demand throughout the state. According to the Statewide California Occupational Projections, Labor Market Information Division, State of California Employment Development Department, medical assistant positions are expected to increase by 30.8 percent, dental assistant positions to increase by 34.9 percent, interior design positions by 18.8 percent, paralegal positions by 26.3 percent and criminal justice positions to increase by 30 percent from 2006 to 2016.
The Kaplan College Sacramento campus is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). ACICS is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
