The Indianapolis-based campus will recognize students for earning a diploma in the allied health field. Upon graduation, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study. According to the most recent Occupational Projections, a report by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, medical assistant positions are expected to increase by 32.4 percent from 2006 to 2016.
"We are extremely proud of our first matriculating class,” said Steve Allen, executive director of Kaplan College’s Southeast Indianapolis campus. “We are excited to have been a part of our graduates’ growth from students to highly trained healthcare professionals. We wish them well in their future careers."
The Kaplan College Southeast Indianapolis campus is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Careers Schools (ACCSC). ACCSC is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency. The Kaplan College Southeast Indianapolis campus is a branch location of the Kaplan College Northwest Indianapolis campus.
