Kaplan Career Institute ICM Campus to Host Graduation Ceremony Thursday
Ceremony to Recognize 138 Students
PITTSBURGH, March 19, 2009—Kaplan Career Institute ICM campus will host a graduation ceremony on Thursday, March 19, for 138 students. The ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall, 4141 Fifth Ave., Oakland, Pa.
Students will be recognized for earning an associate degree or diploma in one of 13 programs in the business, allied health, legal studies or office administration fields. Upon graduation, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study. According to the Occupational Employment Projections in State, a report by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry, Center for Workforce Information & Analysis, medical assistant positions are expected to increase 29.3 percent, occupational therapy assistant positions by 19.4 percent, medical secretary positions by 12.8 percent and legal secretary positions by 10.7 percent from 2004 to 2014.
Kaplan Career Institute ICM campus is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). ACICS is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
