    Bauder College to Host Graduation Ceremony for 211 Students Saturday

    ATLANTA, June 13, 2009Bauder College will hold a graduation ceremony on Saturday, June 13, for 211 students.  The ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. at the Robert Ferst Center of the Arts at 349 Ferst Drive N.W., Atlanta.  LaVonne Deavers, chairwoman of South Fulton Chamber of Commerce will keynote the ceremony.  This ceremony also marks the first graduating class from Bauder College’s computer support technician program.

     

    The Atlanta-based school will recognize students for earning either bachelor’s degrees, associate degrees or certificates in one of 14 programs in the allied health, business, criminal justice, design or information technology fields.  Upon graduation, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study.  According to the Long-Term Occupational Projections, a report by the Georgia Department of Labor, Workforce Information and Analysis, medical assistant positions are expected to increase by 54 percent, fashion design positions by 39.7 percent, computer support specialist positions by 31.2 percent and interior design positions by 19.4 percent from 2004 to 2014. 

     

    Bauder College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges (SACS).
