LUBBOCK, Texas, April 18, 2008—The Texas Careers’ Lubbock campus will hold a graduation ceremony on Friday, April 18, for 182 students. The ceremony will take place at 6:00 p.m. at the City Bank Auditorium at 2720 Drive of Champions, Lubbock, Texas.
Students will be recognized for earning diplomas in one of six programs in the allied health and trade fields. Upon graduation, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study. According to the Texas Long-term Occupation Projections, a report by the Texas Workforce Commission, Labor Market Information Department, medical assistant positions are expected to increase by 58.5 percent and dental assistant positions by 42.9 percent from 2004 to 2014.
Texas Careers’ Lubbock campus is accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education (COE).
