HOUSTON, Dec. 5, 2008—The Texas School of Business’ East campus will hold a graduation ceremony Friday, Dec. 5, for 243 students. The ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the North Shore Senior High School at 353 Castleglory in Houston. Texas State Representative Ana Hernandez will keynote the ceremony.
Students will be recognized for earning diplomas in one of two programs in the allied health field. Upon graduation, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study. According to the Texas Occupational Projections, Texas Workforce Commission, Labor Market Information, medical assistant positions are expected to increase by 58.5 percent from 2004 to 2014.
“Graduation is a time to celebrate our students, their successes and to celebrate the realization of their dreams,” said Almas Yusuf, executive director of Texas School of Business’ East campus. “The road is not always easy, the path is not always smooth, but against all odds, our students believed in themselves and have made it to the finish line. The staff and faculty are extremely proud of our students’ accomplishments.”
Texas School of Business is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). ACICS is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
