Texas Careers’ San Antonio Campus to Relocate

New Facility Provides More Space, Convenient Location for Students

SAN ANTONIO, Dec. 22, 2008—Texas Careers’ San Antonio campus will relocate on Dec. 24, 2008, to better serve its students and the community. The new facility will include more classrooms, larger vocational nursing and medical assistant labs, space for new programs, better accessibility with onsite parking and a location adjacent to the Ingram Park Transit Center. The building will be located at 6441 NW Loop 410 in San Antonio.

We realize that our daily routines will be altered,” said Lisa Ramirez, president of the Texas Careers San Antonio campus. “However, the future holds an improved learning environment and will allow us to focus more of the campus’ resources on improving the educational services we provide to every student.”

The move will not affect any program offerings, accreditation or state licensing. The staff and faculty look forward to continued growth while providing students with a quality education at one of San Antonio’s premiere schools. Students will begin classes in the new building immediately after they return from winter break.

The Texas Careers San Antonio campus is one of 16 Kaplan Higher Education campuses located in the state of Texas. The Texas Careers campus offers diploma and certificate programs in the allied health and legal fields including medical assistant, medical office specialist, nurse aide, vocational nursing and paralegal.

The Texas Careers San Antonio campus is accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education (COE).
