MIDLAND, Texas, Nov. 10, 2008—The Southeastern Career Institute Midland campus has announced the appointment of Marcy Raynes as the school's new executive director.
“The Midland Campus has been anxiously awaiting the arrival of Ms. Raynes,” said Katie Swanger, regional vice president, Texas East region for Kaplan Higher Education. “As the previous director of education for our Dallas campus, Marcy had worked closely with the Midland campus for a few years. Marcy is dedicated to student success as well as the success of our staff and faculty. I look forward to working with Marcy and seeing the Midland campus soar.”
Raynes has more than 15 years of experience in educational leadership positions. Most recently, she was the director of education for the Southeastern Career Institute Dallas campus. She started as a business instructor at ESS College of Business in 1993. Raynes has since served as the associate dean of academic affairs for ITT Technical Institute in Richardson, Texas and as the director of education at ATI Career Training Center.
The Southeastern Career Institute Midland campus is accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education (COE).
