    Maric College’s Modesto Campus Hosts Graduation Ceremony for 134 Students Thursday

     

    MODESTO, Calif., Jan. 24, 2008—The Maric College Modesto campus will hold a graduation ceremony on Thursday, Jan. 24, for 134 students.  The ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Modesto Centre Plaza, Harvest Hall at 1000 L St., Modesto, Calif.  

     

    Students will be recognized for earning associate degrees and diplomas in one of five programs in the allied health and legal fields.  Upon graduation, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study, many of which are in high demand throughout the state.  According to the California Long-Term Occupational Employment Projections, a report by the California Employment Development Department, Labor Market Information Division, medical assistant positions are expected to increase by 35.7 percent and dental assistant positions by 40.9 percent from 2004 to 2014.

     

    The Maric College Modesto campus is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT).  ACCSCT is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education.
