HARRISBURG, Pa., May 1, 2008—Kaplan Career Institute’s Harrisburg campus will hold a graduation ceremony Thursday, May 1st, for 134 students. The ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Forum at 5th and Walnut St., Harrisburg, Pa. Patty Kim, Harrisburg City Councilwoman, will keynote the ceremony.
Students will be recognized for earning associate degrees or diplomas in one of nine programs in the business, allied health or technical fields. Upon graduation, students are eligible for entry-level positions in their fields of study. According to the Long-Term Occupational Employment Projections, a report by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, Center for Workforce Information and Analysis, medical assistant positions are expected to increase by 45.9 percent from 2004 to 2014.
“Graduation is a proud day for our students, their family and their friends,” said Sherry Rosenberg, executive director of Kaplan Career Institute. “It is the culmination of many months of hard work, dedication and sacrifice.”
