Florida Education Center to Host Graduation Ceremony for 113 Students Friday

LAUDERHILL, Fla., June 6, 2008 -Florida Education Center will hold a graduation ceremony on Friday, June 6, for 113 students. The ceremony will take place at 6:00 p.m. at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention Center at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd., Fort Lauderdale. Dennard Mitchell, Co-founder of Men of Visions World Wide, LLC, will keynote the ceremony.
The ceremony will recognize 113 students for earning diplomas in one of five programs, including computer business systems, dental assisting, medical assisting, medical office specialist or pharmacy technician programs. Upon graduation, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their area of study. According to the Statewide Long-Term Employment Projections, a report by the State of Florida Agency for Workforce Innovation, Labor Market Statistics, medical assistant positions are expected to increase by 38.8 percent, dental assistant positions by 31.4 percent and pharmacy technician positions by 22.9 percent from 2007 to 2015.
Florida Education Center is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). ACCSCT is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education.
