DENVER, Oct. 24, 2008—Kaplan College’s Denver campus will hold a graduation ceremony on Friday, Oct. 24, for 120 students. The ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Doubletree Hotel, at 8773 Yates Dr., Westminster, Colorado.
Students will be recognized for earning an associate degree or certificate in one of five programs in the allied health or legal fields. Upon graduation, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study, many of which are in high demand throughout the state. According to the Colorado Statewide Occupational Projections, a report by the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, medical assistant positions are expected to increase by 40.1 percent and pharmacy technician positions by 44.8 percent from 2004 to 2014.
Kaplan College’s Denver campus is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). ACCSCT is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education.
