Maric College, Modesto Campus Moves To New Facility On June 7
Modesto, CA, June 3, 2004 – To better serve its current students and accommodate rising enrollments, Maric College, Modesto Campus has announced it will move to a new facility located at 5172 Kiernan Court in Salida, CA on Monday, June 7, 2004.
The 24,000 square foot facility includes two computer labs featuring 70 terminals, four clinical labs and a student lounge. The newly constructed building is conveniently located off of Highway 99 in Salida, and will offer approximately 240 parking spaces solely for use by students, employees and visitors.
“Our goal is to provide our students with a technologically sophisticated and comfortable learning environment,” said Mary Ann Crone, Executive Director of Maric College, Modesto Campus. “This new facility, created specifically for Maric College, will provide our students with a high quality learning space as our school continues to grow.”
Maric College, Modesto Campus offers a variety of allied health programs designed to provide students with career-oriented curricula, hands-on training and externships in multi-disciplinary medical practices. Accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT), Maric College, Modesto Campus offers students diploma programs in Medical Assistant, Medical Office Specialist and Therapeutic Health Technician.
The school also offers an Associate of Occupational Studies degree in Medical Assistant in the evening to accommodate working professionals, and provides students with a Career Services Department that assists with interview skills, résumé writing and job placement. Maric College, Modesto Campus was known as California College, Modesto until May 2004.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially welcome the community to campus will be scheduled for late June. Effective June 7, the new phone number for Maric College, Modesto Campus will be 209-543-7000.
