NEW YORK, November 2, 2000 In a move that expands its reach into four new major markets, Quest Education Corporation has acquired the assets of the Denver Paralegal Institute, Ltd. (DPI) which offers quality paralegal training at five schools in Denver, Colorado Springs, Phoenix, Nashville and Dallas. Quest, a leading provider of career education, is a subsidiary of Kaplan, Inc.
Pending regulatory approval, Quest intends to migrate DPI’s high-level paralegal programs to several existing Quest schools. In addition, Quest plans to offer a number of its proven core programs in Information Technology, Healthcare and Criminal Justice at the DPI schools. To accommodate the anticipated demand for the new programs that Quest will introduce, the company plans to expand the size of DPI’s physical facilities.

Founded in 1977, Denver Paralegal Institute received approval by the American Bar Association in 1979. DPI offers paralegal training to college graduates who are taught by experienced attorney instructors.
