NASHVILLE, Tenn., June 27, 2008—Kaplan Career Institute’s Nashville campus will hold a graduation ceremony on Friday, June 27, for 105 students.  The ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the War Memorial Auditorium, 301 Sixth Ave. N., Nashville.  Kelly Cox, meteorologist for News Channel 5, will keynote the ceremony.

Students will be recognized for earning associate degrees, certificates or diplomas in one of five programs in the paralegal, criminal justice or allied health fields.  Upon graduation, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study, many of which are in high demand throughout the state.  According to the Tennessee Statewide Occupational Outlook, a report by the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Research and Statistics Division, paralegal positions are expected to increase by 44 percent and medical assistant positions by 47 percent from 2004 to 2014.

“I am extremely proud of our graduates for their perseverance throughout this educational experience,” said Adam Butler, executive director of Kaplan Career Institute’s Nashville campus.  “I am equally proud of our faculty and staff for their unwavering dedication in leading our students to this great day.”
